3900 N Wheat State Rd, Burrton, Kansas 67522

Located just north of Burrton is this 60 +/- acre tract of native grassland in Harvey County, Kansas within the Sandhills region. This property offers a combination of pasture, wildlife habitat, privacy, and recreational potential. The property is primarily pasture with scattered thickets and woolier areas that provide excellent cover for wildlife. Whitetail deer, turkeys and bobwhite quail are common throughout the area, and the mix of grass, brush, and thicker cover creates the kind of habitat where the wildlife should feel right at home. With a little work, it could set up well as a hunting property. One of the property’s coolest features is its secluded setting. Access is by a two-track public road that also serves as part of an easement for the City of McPherson Board of Public Utilities. Tucked well away from heavier traveled roads, the property has a private, off-the-beaten-path feel. Fencing is in good condition along the existing boundaries, with fencing still needed along the south property line. Whether you are looking for additional grazing acreage, a private recreational getaway, or a smaller hunting property, this tract offers plenty of possibilities. Call with your questions.
